Day 24
We went to the red pyramid and bend pyramid near to Cairo. The Red Pyramid was not always red. It used to be cased with white "Tura limestone" a sedimentary rock, composed mainly of skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral, forams and molluscs. but only a few of these stones now remain at the pyramid's base. During the Middle Ages much of the white Tura limestone was taken for buildings in Cairo, revealing the red limestone beneath.
We went inside the pyramid. It was great. The red pyramid has tunnel and we had to go down until the base of the pyramid. Inside the pyramid smells like ammonia. That it is because there are a lot of bats. ut side of the pyramid was really hot. Luckly we got an uber who ride us to the other pyramid.
We also went to bend pyramid but it was not open. We claimbed it but the door was closed.
