Fayoum and Alexandria

Day 19

We travelled to Fayoum arround 11:00 am on friday morning from Cairo. Fayoum it is a city located in south of Egypt. And located on the shores of the homonymous lake,in the oasis of Fayoum. We arrived to Fayoum and we rested a little bit and we drank something refreshing and we continue on the trip. After that we visited at Fayoum a small hand made pottery and a store. After that we had a typical lunch at Fayoum that includes fried bread, white cheese, cheese with tomatoes, some spicy sauce and pickles. After that we continued our trip to watch the sunset in the desert. We arrived to Fayoum lake and I got inside the lake. I wet my feet at the lake. We had a camp site next to the lake with a fire place. And also we ate dinner at the camp site. Here we ate chicken, rice, salad and potatoes with tomatoes sauce. After that in the fireplace we watched the stars and the moon. We talked a lot and after that we slept.
