The adventure has began

Departure on 28th May

All this story started on may 28th from Santiago de Chile SCL to Guarulhos in Sao Paulo Brasil GRU.

The flight LA 8161 was delayed 2 hours from Santigo to Guarulhos so I lost my conexions to Adis Ababa in Etiopía and from Etiopia to Cairo.

Luckly when I arrived to Guarulhos airport in Brasil I found another chilean called Nacho who lives in Beirut, Lebanon. We both lost the conexion to Adis Ababa in Etiopia. After that we went to Latam Airlines to ask for some solutions, after talking with "Latam stuff" for arround 2 hours finally they gave us a solution. A night in a hotel in Sao Paulo and a conexion from Guarulhos GRU to London LHR and London to Cairo CAI. I asked about my lugagge and Latam stuff said me that my luggage arrived before than I do.

After like 2 days travelling I finally arrive to Cairo, Egypt CAI.

Day 1 in Cairo

I arrived to Cairo at 23:00 it is supposed that somebody is gona be waiting for me outside the airport with a poster with my name "Victoria". I went out side of the airport but nobody was waiting for me and all the taxi drivers were over me to offer their transportation service. After that I went inside the airport again and I bought a SIM card for my phone but it did not work, it blocked my cell phone, after that I wanted to get back my money but they said me that supposedly someone else was using that SIM card. Then I missed my money.

Day 2

The first day I went to Lu Lu hypermarket to get some food. After that in the morning I went with some guys to visit some places in Cairo, including a navegation over Nile river and downtown.

Day 3

The next day I went to visit the downtown again and I take a cruiser over the Nile river again and also I ate typical food and I watched a nice band playing typical music.

Day 4

This day we visited Cairo Museum after that we went to find some souvenirs. And we just walked arround downtawn. After that we came back to the hostel.

Day 5

Next day we went to visit a Citadele of Cairo and Khan El Khalili shopping center, typical places in Cairo and we visited a mosque.

Day 6

This day we went to the great pyramid of Giza and the sphinx . This is the oldest of the seven wonders of the world and the only one that still remains, besides being the largest of the pyramids of Egypt. And I took a photo on a camel. Later I went with a friend to Lulu hypermarket to buy some food.

At night we went to Khan El Khalili shopping center and we walked around downtown and we visit a mosque there.

Day 7

Today we went out of the city. This time was Alexandria located in the north of Egypt. We were visiting the Citadel, mediterranean sea and the Library of Alexandria. Also I tried some tipical food at front of Mediterranean Sea.
